Welcome to Irthlingborough Junior School
The most common compliment given to us by visitors to Irthlingborough Junior School is that we have created a warm and nurturing environment for our children. This is what we pride ourselves on: from the moment you step through the gate every morning, you will be made to feel cared for.
Our school community works hard to deliver to our children on all fronts. We have an engaging and varied academic curriculum – sciences, arts, sport, humanities - to inspire children’s curiosity alongside maths and English that enable children to be ready for the next stage of their curriculum.
Our learning is built upon the foundation of pastoral care because we know that if we want our children to learn they have to be happy coming to school. This is why we offer before and after school care and activities and have a rich pastoral programme that enables children to thrive.
We are here to support our families and we are ready to work hard to create the best possible opportunities for your child.
